Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. The nose offers ripe red and dark fruit, plum and a touch of sweet spice. Soft and round on the palate, with juicy fruit, gentle tannins and a warm, pleasant finish.

About this wine

Produttori di Manduria is a cooperative in Manduria, Puglia, officially founded in 1932, bringing together around 400 growers and close to 900 hectares of vineyards, most of them traditional alberello bush vines.

The cooperative is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and, since 2018, as a sustainable company under the Equalitas standard. In the old wing of its cellar it also runs a museum dedicated to the wine culture of Manduria.

This Salento Primitivo in a 1.5-litre Magnum is a generous, easy-going red from the heel of Italy, a natural choice for larger groups and festive tables.
