Tasting notes

About this wine

Azienda Vinicola Federici is a family winery in Zagarolo, in the hills south-east of Rome, in Lazio. This Roma Rosso from its Collezione Oro line is a red cuvée from the Roma appellation, created to celebrate the wines of the Eternal City.

The 2023 shows soft fruit, cherry and herbs with spice and a subtle note of wood, then a powerful, juicy palate with harmonious tannins and a consistent finish. It has 14% alcohol and has won Grand Gold at the Frankfurt Wine Trophy and 99 points from Luca Maroni.

Serve at 14–16 °C with hearty meat dishes.
