Tasting notes

Bright ruby red. The nose offers fresh red cherry, raspberry and plum with a hint of violet and light spice. The palate is medium-bodied and juicy, with lively acidity, soft, well-balanced tannins and a clean, fruity finish made for everyday drinking.

About this wine

Poliziano is the Carletti family estate in Montepulciano, Tuscany, founded in 1961 when Dino Carletti planted the first specialised vineyards in the area. Since 1980 it has been run by his son Federico, and today it ranks among the leading names of the appellation.

Rosso di Montepulciano is made in the same area as the renowned Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, from Sangiovese-based vineyards, and is conceived as its younger, more immediate sibling.

Fruity, fresh and soft, with a balanced finish, it is a Tuscan red designed for everyday pleasure at the table.
