Tasting notes

Bright pink with coppery glints and a fine mousse. The nose is fragrant with cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry and pomegranate, with a touch of rose and mint. The palate is fresh and silky, with juicy red fruit, gentle structure and a clean, lingering finish.

About this wine

Ruinart, the oldest established Champagne house, was founded in Reims in 1729, and as early as 1764 its records mention a shipment of "oeil de perdrix" wine, an early pink Champagne.

Today's Ruinart Rosé blends Chardonnay, the house signature, with Pinot Noir, part of which is vinified as red wine to give its colour and red-fruit character. It matures in the deep chalk crayères beneath Reims and is bottled in the house's distinctive rounded bottle.

Presented in a gift case, it is an aromatic, elegant rosé for celebrations.
