Tasting notes

Pale yellow with green reflections. Aromas of grapefruit, lime, white peach, blackcurrant leaf and wet stone. The palate is taut and juicy, with vibrant acidity, chalky minerality and a long, citrus-driven, saline finish.

About this wine

Domaine Bailly-Reverdy is a family estate in Bué, one of the most respected villages of Sancerre, where the family has tended vines for generations. La Mercy-Dieu is its signature cuvée, named after a renowned lieu-dit on the slopes above Bué with chalky-clay soils.

Made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc, the 2025 combines ripe citrus and white-fruit aromas with the tension and chalky minerality typical of the village, finishing long and fresh.
