Tasting notes

Pale golden yellow. The nose is fragrant and varietal, with sage, elderflower, citrus and hints of green pepper. The palate is dry and delicate, with a lush streak of fresh acidity, light body and a clean, aromatic finish.

About this wine

Cavit is a leading Trentino winery whose Mastri Vernacoli range showcases the classic grape varieties of the region. This Sauvignon Blanc comes from vineyards on medium-high slopes, mainly in the Valle dei Laghi with some in the Adige valley, where Alpine influences keep the fruit fresh and aromatic.

The hand-picked grapes are destemmed, crushed and cold-macerated on the skins for about 12 hours before gentle pressing. Fermentation is temperature-controlled, followed by a short rest in stainless steel before bottling.

Dry, delicate and fragrant, it is an easy, food-friendly white for everyday meals.
