Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with green glints. Gooseberry, elderflower, nettle, aromatic herbs and flint on the nose. A vibrant attack, a rich mid-palate and a fresh, persistent finish.

About this wine

Hofstätter's Sauvignon comes from vineyards at almost 900 metres, high in the mountains of Trentino-Alto Adige, where the cool nights keep its aromas sharp.

The grapes macerate on the skins for about eight hours before a gentle pressing, and the wine ferments in steel with no wood ageing. This listing is the 2022 vintage.
