Tasting notes

Golden yellow. The nose recalls dried figs, apricot, orange peel, honey and roses. The palate is fruity, harmonious and soft without heaviness, lifted by freshness and a light spicy touch on the finish.

About this wine

Terre d'Ocra is a naturally sweet Zibibbo from the Sicilian winery Firriato, born on the Borgo Guarini estate, its largest property at 165 hectares, about 20 kilometres from the sea near Trapani.

Part of the grapes is left to dry on the vine; the shrivelled berries are then steeped in the fresh must and ferment together with it at controlled temperature, followed by three months of maturation. The method concentrates aroma and sweetness while keeping the wine lively.

Fruity, harmonious and soft without ever feeling heavy, it is a bright, aromatic dessert wine in a practical 500 ml bottle, ideal for sharing at the end of a meal.
