Tasting notes

Brilliant straw yellow. The nose combines white flowers, citrus and ripe white-fleshed fruit with hints of sea breeze and Mediterranean herbs such as thyme and sage. The palate is saline and fresh, very well balanced, with a clean and lingering finish.

About this wine

Massovivo is the Vermentino of Tenuta dell'Ammiraglia, the Frescobaldi estate in the coastal Maremma, in the south of Tuscany. The name comes from the yellowish rocks known as "massi vivi", living stones, that mark the terrain of the vineyards.

The wine is made entirely from Vermentino and matures in stainless steel on its fine lees, a choice that preserves the maritime freshness and aromatic lift of the variety. The 2025 vintage has 12.5% alcohol.
