Tasting notes

Straw yellow with a fine, continuous perlage. Elegant on the nose. Harmonious and soft on the palate, with long aromatic persistence and a full, fruity finish.

About this wine

Cartizze is the most prized cru of Prosecco Superiore: a small hill near Valdobbiadene whose grapes have their own DOCG, Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze. Ruggeri's Cartizze Dry is made from Glera (at least 85%) with other local white grapes.

The grapes are vinified off the skins at a controlled 16 °C, and the second fermentation takes place slowly in large closed tanks at 14–15 °C. With about 28 g/l of residual sugar it is a Dry: soft, fruity and ideal at the end of a meal.
