Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow. The nose is light and fresh, with green apple, citrus and white flowers. The palate is dry and crisp, light-bodied, with a clean, refreshing finish that is best enjoyed well chilled.

La Scolca is a family winery in Gavi, Piedmont, that has worked with the Cortese grape for four generations. "Il Valentino Zero" is the alcohol-free member of its range: a white wine from which the alcohol is removed after vinification, bringing the content down to 0.0%.

The aim is to keep the freshness and lightness of a Piedmontese white while leaving out the alcohol, so it can be enjoyed at lunch, before driving or on alcohol-free days.
