Tasting notes

Brilliant greenish yellow. A youthful nose of apple, pear and citrus with delicate floral notes. The palate is light to medium-bodied, fresh, fruity and dry, with a clean and crisp finish.

About this wine

Alois Lageder is a family winery in Magrè, South Tyrol, known for its commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture. Pinot Bianco has been grown in the region since the mid-19th century, and this wine draws on selected vineyards in southern Alto Adige, in Salorno, Magrè, Cortaccia, Pochi and Tesimo, at 210-650 metres on sandy, gravelly soils rich in limestone.

The wine is made entirely from Pinot Bianco and matures for about four months on its lees in stainless steel, which keeps its youthful fruit and crisp freshness intact.

Light to medium-bodied, fresh, fruity and dry, it is an easy and versatile white for everyday meals.
