Tasting notes

Clear pale lemon colour. Aromas of almond and marzipan, cherry blossom and elderflower, bergamot and lime, pear and white peach. The palate is fresh, supple and savoury, with lively acidity and a clean, persistent finish that invites another sip.

About this wine

Pieropan is a family winery in Soave whose vineyards in the Classico heart of the appellation are entirely farmed under organic certification.

This Soave Classico comes from estate hillside plots at 100-300 metres, on volcanic and limestone soils, with vines from six to sixty years old. The grapes are hand-picked: Trebbiano di Soave from mid-September and Garganega in October. The wine rests five to nine months on fine lees in glass-lined concrete tanks, then at least a month in bottle.
