Tasting notes

Bright ruby. Aromas of cherry and red fruit with floral and spicy notes. Soft, fresh and juicy on the palate, with moderate tannins and a clean, fruity finish.

About this wine

Tenuta Sant'Antonio is a family winery in Valpolicella run by the four Castagnedi brothers, Massimo, Armando, Tiziano and Paolo.

Nanfrè is their fresh, easy-drinking Valpolicella, from vineyards in Colognola ai Colli and Illasi planted on clay soils at around 200 metres. Made from Corvina and Rondinella and aged for six months in stainless steel, it shows the bright, cherry-scented side of the region without any oak.
