Tasting notes

Ruby red with garnet hues. Cherry and sour cherry with balsamic hints, cinnamon, black pepper, clove and tobacco. The palate is fresh, dry and velvety, with good structure and a lightly toasted finish of fine length.

About this wine

Produttori di Manduria is a cooperative in Manduria, Puglia, officially founded in 1932. It brings together around 400 growers, known as the "masters of Primitivo", with nearly 900 hectares of vineyards, most of them trained as traditional alberello bush vines.

Adora is a Salice Salentino Riserva from 25- to 30-year-old vines, both bush-trained and on trellis, harvested in mid-September. The blend is 85% Negroamaro and 15% Malvasia Nera, and the wine ages six months in large Slavonian oak casks.

Spicy, velvety and well structured, it is a classic red of the Salento with a long, gently toasty finish.
