Tasting notes

Brilliant ruby red. Intense small berries and violet on the nose, with delicate spice. Robust, fragrant and fresh on the palate, velvety and soft, with a lightly spicy finish.

About this wine

Hofstätter's Lagrein is an Alto Adige DOC from 100% Lagrein, the region's native red grape, grown on gravelly soils.

It ages about ten months in Slavonian oak barrels, which round out the grape's deep fruit and spice. This listing is the 2019 vintage.
