Tasting notes

Delicate yellow with greenish glints. The nose offers ripe gooseberry, elderflower and fine herbal notes. The palate has an elegant structure with well-balanced acidity and good persistence, closing on a long, inviting finish.

About this wine

The Sauvignon from the Selezione line is a fresh, aromatic white from Elena Walch, one of the reference wineries of Alto Adige, based in Termeno. The grapes are harvested by hand from vineyards facing south-east and south-west, on calcareous soils with layers of sand.

Fermentation in stainless steel at 19 °C highlights the clean varietal character, and the wine then spends several months on its lees in steel, gaining texture without losing its crisp alpine profile.
