Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow. The nose is fresh, with citrus, white flowers and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is light and crisp, with lively acidity and a clean, pleasantly savoury finish. Simple and bright, it is at its best young, while the fruit is at its freshest.

About this wine

Firriato is the Di Gaetano family winery based in Paceco, near Trapani, farming around 490 hectares of certified organic vineyards across several estates from western to eastern Sicily.

The story began in the 1980s at the Baglio Soria estate near Trapani; today the vineyards stretch from the island of Favignana to the slopes of Etna. "Branciforti" Bianco is an approachable white from the Terre Siciliane category, made from Catarratto, one of the island's traditional white grapes.

It is designed for everyday drinking: fresh, light and easy with simple Mediterranean food.
