Tasting notes

Bright, deep ruby red with purple highlights. Small dark berries and ripe cherry on the nose, with cocoa, white pepper and soft spice. Fresh and harmonious on the palate, with juicy fruit, well-integrated tannins and good length.

About this wine

Carmenere Più is Inama's red blend of Carmenère and Merlot from the Colli Berici, the hills south of Vicenza. The Guyot-trained vines face south at 50 to 150 metres, on iron-rich clay over marine limestone.

The grapes are picked by hand and ferment on their skins for about three weeks in temperature-controlled vats; the wine then matures for about a year in stainless steel and oak before a final rest in steel and in bottle. This listing is the 2019 vintage.
