Tasting notes

Bright ruby red. The nose is delicate and floral, with raspberry, red cherry, violet and a light spicy note. The palate is soft, rounded and charming, with gentle minerality, fine, delicate tannins that soften quickly and a fresh, elegant finish of red fruit.

About this wine

Méo-Camuzet is a family estate in Vosne-Romanée, deeply rooted in the terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. The Premier Cru Les Feusselottes comes from a small hollow in the centre of Chambolle-Musigny, between the two hills of the village; its name means little pits.

The shallow soil and young, moderately vigorous vines give early-ripening Pinot Noir with a characteristic mineral finish. The wine ages in oak barrels with a moderate share of new oak, to preserve its freshness.

Soft, rounded and charming, it reveals its complexity early, a Chambolle of finesse and grace.
