About this wine

Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron is a family estate in the Côte de Nuits, run today by Sophie and Alain Meunier and gradually being taken over by their son Louis. It covers around 9 hectares across many appellations and has followed organic practices since the 1990s.

Its Chambolle-Musigny vines were planted in the 1960s. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, some of them new, and bottled without fining or filtration. It offers a fine, delicate texture with cherry, raspberry and strawberry, hints of violet and a light earthy touch, a dense mid-palate and a taut, stony finish.
