Tasting notes

Bright ruby colour. Aromas of red and black fruit such as raspberry, blackcurrant and cherry. The palate is rounded and fruity, with supple tannins and a fresh, clean finish typical of young Bordeaux.

About this wine

Château Talmont is a family estate in Landerrouat, in the eastern part of Bordeaux, run by Jérémy Mourgue, who took over from his grandparents and works the property together with his father.

The 17th-century house is surrounded by vineyards, woodland and a lake, and the vines are farmed following the principles of sustainable "agriculture raisonnée". "Le Secret" is a red blend of Bordeaux grape varieties under the Bordeaux appellation.

Made in the style of young Bordeaux, the 2025 is fruity and rounded with a fresh finish, a friendly red for roasts and cheese.
