Tasting notes

Aromas of roses, violets and ripe red fruit with a fine woody nuance. The palate is soft and juicy at first, then the tannins unfold with a full body and a long, persistent finish that promises many years of evolution.

About this wine

Domaine Faiveley is a family wine house in Nuits-Saint-Georges, founded in 1825 and led today by the seventh generation, Erwan and Eve Faiveley. The domaine owns around 120 hectares across Burgundy.

In the famed Clos de Vougeot it farms three plots totalling just over 1.2 hectares, planted at different times between 1940 and 2013 on deep marl soils. This Pinot Noir opens soft and juicy before revealing firm tannins, full body and a long finish, with the potential to age for 10 to 25 years.
