Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. Plum, cherry and spice mingle with rosemary, Mediterranean scrub and the hint of rose typical of the variety. The palate is dry and velvety, with raspberry and ripe medlar flavours and a smooth finish.

About this wine

Cantina Museo Albea is a winery in Alberobello, in the heart of the Itria Valley, and takes its name from the wine museum it houses. Its Due Trulli line presents the native grapes of Puglia in an accessible, easy-drinking style.

This Negroamaro comes from vineyards in the Brindisi area and is made entirely from the variety. After vinification it rests for at least three months in bottle before release.

It is a generous, sun-ripened red that shows the warm Mediterranean character of one of Puglia's signature grapes.
