Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. The nose is intense and complex, with blackberry, raspberry, cherry and plum and a touch of spice. The palate is elegant and firm, with ripe red fruit, smooth tannins and a slightly spicy finish. Supple, modern and easy to enjoy now.

About this wine

N10 comes from the Fonterutoli estate of the Mazzei family in Chianti Classico, where the family has made wine for more than twenty generations.

It is a Toscana IGT blend of Merlot and Sangiovese from the estate vineyards, aged for twelve months in barrel. Merlot brings roundness and ripe fruit, while Sangiovese adds freshness and Tuscan character.

Elegant yet firm, with intense red fruit and a gently spicy finish, it is a versatile modern Tuscan red for everyday dining at home.
