Tasting notes

About this wine

Viña San Félix is a Gran Reserva from Valdepeñas, in Castilla-La Mancha, one of central Spain's historic wine areas, where hot summers and cold winters give ripe, structured reds. It is made from Tempranillo, Spain's noble red grape.

Gran Reserva is the highest ageing category in Spanish wine law. The 2019 shows mature fruit aromas and spice, a balanced structure, velvety tannins and a long, impressive finish. It is dry, with 13% alcohol, and won a gold medal at the Berlin Wine Trophy.

Serve at 16–18 °C with hearty meat dishes.
