Tasting notes

Straw yellow with green glints. Floral aromas and yellow fruit, joined by white peach and citrus. The palate is mineral, well structured and harmonious, with a creamy texture from the lees and a saline note on the clean, persistent finish.

About this wine

The only white wine made by Giacomo Brezza & Figli comes from a west-facing Chardonnay vineyard in the commune of Barolo, farmed organically like the rest of the estate.

The grapes are pressed and fermented entirely in stainless steel at controlled temperature, with no oak. The wine then stays several months on its fine lees, which gives it texture and weight without compromising its freshness.

It is a mineral, food-friendly Chardonnay with a saline edge, delicious young but capable of a few years of bottle age.
