Tasting notes

Deep purple-red. An explosion of primary aromas with persistent nuances of wild berries and toasty notes. Medium-bodied, with refined tannins and good intensity, a fresh, balanced start and a good finish.

About this wine

Lar de Paula was founded in 2004 in the small village of Elvillar, in Rioja Alavesa, at 600 metres. Vineyards over 40 years old grow on hard, calcareous soils, where cool mornings and sunny afternoons allow slow, balanced ripening.

This Edición Limitada Crianza is 100% Tempranillo, aged 14 months in French and American oak and at least four months in bottle. Deep purple-red, with wild berries and toasty notes, it is medium-bodied with refined tannins.

Fresh, balanced and complex. Serve at 16–18 °C.
