About this wine

"Alte Reben" means old vines: lower yields, deeper roots and more concentrated fruit. Markus Huber works in the Traisental, a small Austrian appellation south of the Danube.

His Pinot Noir from there is pale and delicate, with cherry, raspberry and forest floor, fine tannins and lively acidity. It is a light, elegant red that shows the cool-climate side of the variety.

Serve lightly chilled at 14–16 °C with duck or mushroom dishes.
