Tasting notes

Intense, luminous ruby red. The nose is richly fruity, with forest berries and cherry and light nuances of plum. The palate is fresh and succulent, with soft, rounded tannins and a pleasant, fruit-driven finish.

About this wine

Terre More is the red wine of Tenuta dell'Ammiraglia, the Frescobaldi estate in the Maremma, a short distance from the Tuscan coast. The vineyards benefit from a warm Mediterranean climate tempered by sea breezes, which gives juicy, ripe fruit.

Cabernet Sauvignon forms the backbone of the blend, joined by Cabernet Franc and smaller shares of Merlot and Syrah. After fermentation the wine ages in French barriques and then in bottle. The 2020 vintage has 13% alcohol.
