About this wine

Deneb Merlot 2019 comes from Angel's Estate, a winery near Nova Zagora in the Thracian Lowlands of southern Bulgaria. The Deneb line is named after one of the brightest stars in the northern sky.

The 2019 Merlot is a soft, approachable reading of the grape: black plum, morello cherry, cocoa and a light vanilla note from the oak, with a medium-full body, low acidity and rounded tannins. It is ready to drink today, with no further cellaring needed.

Serve at 16–18 °C with roast meat, pasta with meat sauce or medium-aged cheeses.
