Tasting notes

Pale lemon. The nose shows almond, marzipan, vine and elder blossom, bergamot, pear and white peach. The palate is fresh, supple and savoury, with crisp acidity and a clean, mineral finish.

About this wine

The Pieropan family has made wine in Soave since 1880, and today the estate is run by the fourth generation. Soave Classico is the youngest and most representative wine of the range, made entirely from the family's own certified organic vineyards on the hills of the classic zone, on volcanic and limestone soils.

The blend is 85–90% Garganega with 10–15% Trebbiano di Soave, aged 5–9 months on fine lees in concrete tanks and at least one month in bottle.

It is a benchmark Soave: fresh, supple and savoury, with real sense of place.
