About this wine

Vinicola Mediterranea is a winery in San Pietro Vernotico, in the province of Brindisi, in the heart of the Salento peninsula of Puglia. Primitivo is the region's signature red grape, loved for its ripe fruit and generous, warm character.

This Primitivo 2025 is velvety and soft, full-bodied and intense, with juicy soft fruit and cherries, spice and herb aromas and velvety tannins. It has 13.5% alcohol, a smooth style with a touch of sweetness, and gold medals from the Berlin Wine Trophy and Gilbert & Gaillard.

Serve at 16–18 °C with roast meats and cold cuts.
