Pale straw colour with green hints. An expressive nose of gooseberry, lemon, green pepper and freshly cut grass. Dry and crisp on the palate, light to medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity and a clean, zesty citrus finish.

Gomotartzi Sauvignon Blanc 2021 comes from Bononia Estate, the winery in the Vidin region, the most north-western wine area of Bulgaria. The continental climate and cool nights there preserve the acidity, which for Sauvignon Blanc is decisive.

The profile is classic and crisp: gooseberry, lemon, green pepper and freshly cut grass. It is a lively, aromatic white that shows what the Danube terroir can do with this grape.
