Tasting notes

Straw yellow with greenish tints. Aromas of acacia, jasmine, citrus, apple, pear and mango. The palate is fresh and fruity, with lively acidity, a light creamy texture from the lees and a clean, refreshing finish.

About this wine

Tenuta Sant'Antonio is a family winery in Mezzane di Sotto near Verona, run by the four Castagnedi brothers. Their Scaia line takes its name from the white, flaky limestone soils typical of the area.

This white blends 55% Garganega and 45% Chardonnay from vineyards in Colognola ai Colli, Illasi and Mezzane. It ferments at low temperature without malolactic fermentation and rests on its lees with weekly stirring, ageing only in stainless steel. The result is a fresh, fragrant wine with lively acidity.
