Tasting notes

Brilliant straw yellow. Delicate, aromatic nose of white flowers, chamomile, white peach and citrus, with balsamic and lightly vegetal hints. Direct and fresh on the palate, almost herbaceous, with a dry finish.

About this wine

SP68 Bianco is Arianna Occhipinti's white from Vittoria, in south-east Sicily, named after the provincial road that runs past her vineyards. It blends Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria) and Albanello from biodynamically farmed vines at 280 metres on sandy, calcareous soils.

The wine ferments with indigenous yeasts and macerates about 15 days on the skins, then ages six months in concrete and a month in bottle; it is bottled unfiltered. This listing is the 2021 vintage.
