Tasting notes

Vivid pink with a fine, persistent mousse. Delicate notes of white flowers, apple and pear weave through red berries and wild strawberry. Fresh and velvety on the palate, with good acidity and a dry, lingering finish on raspberry and citrus.

About this wine

Ferro 13 is the project of four Italian friends who give each of their wines a separate persona and a deliberately bold label.

The Lady One is the rosé of the range: a sparkling wine from the Marca Trevigiana, where Glera is joined by Pinot Nero to give the bright pink colour. Picking runs in several passes between September and October, and the second fermentation is kept slow and long to build a fine bead and hold the freshness.

Finished Extra Dry, it carries a touch more sugar than a Brut, which rounds out the red-fruit side without making the wine sweet.
