Tasting notes

Straw yellow with golden reflections. An intense nose of mineral and iodine notes, lavender, kiwi and melon. The palate is fresh and precise, with harmony between acidity and softness, finishing with a light almond bitterness.

About this wine

Canoso is a winery in Monteforte d'Alpone, in the classic Soave zone, whose vineyards grow on volcanic soils. Verso comes from the Le Coste additional geographical unit, where Garganega thrives on basalt.

The wine spends at least 24 months on its lees in stainless steel and a minimum of four months in bottle. This long, patient ageing gives it depth, texture and the ability to evolve for years.

Intense and precise, it shows how serious and long-lived Soave can be when it comes from great volcanic terroir.
