Tasting notes

Ruby. Aromas of ripe cherry and vanilla with a hint of violet. Rounded on the palate, with lively acidity, soft tannins and a long cherry finish.

About this wine

Vietti was founded at the end of the 19th century by Carlo Vietti in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Langhe. In 1961 Alfredo Currado made one of the first single-cru Barolos, and since 1974 the winery has also been known for its artist-designed labels.

Tre Vigne brings together Barbera from vineyards in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba and La Morra. It ages for around a year in a mix of large casks, barriques and steel, balancing the grape's lively acidity with a gentle roundness.
