Tasting notes

Deep red. Citrus and spicy notes over herbs, strawberries, blackberries and red berries, with a floral touch. Fresh and harmonious on the palate, with a long, enveloping finish.

About this wine

Piccini is a Tuscan family winery founded in 1882 by Angiolo Piccini in Poggibonsi and run for five generations; today the company is based in Casole d'Elsa.

Pinocchio was launched in 2022: its rounded bottle recalls the old straw-covered fiasco, and the shellac seal carries the silhouette of the famous wooden puppet's hat. Inside is a blend of Sangiovese from Tuscany and from Romagna with Negroamaro from Puglia, a playful meeting of central and southern Italy.

Fresh and harmonious, it is a red made for sharing.
