Tasting notes

Deep, dark ruby colour. The nose shows ripe soft fruits and cherries with hints of spice. The palate is velvety, soft and concentrated, with smooth tannins, spicy notes and a warm, lingering finish.

About this wine

Torrevento was founded in 1989 in Corato, in the Murgia area of Puglia. The estate is a former 17th-century Benedictine monastery with vineyards in the Torre del Vento locality, and today the winery farms more than 500 hectares of vines across the region.

Tage is a juicy Primitivo under the Puglia IGP designation, awarded a Grand Gold at the Frankfurt Wine Trophy. With 13% alcohol, it shows the deep colour and ripe soft fruit typical of the variety in southern Italy.

Velvety, soft and full-flavoured, with a spicy edge, it is made for generous dishes and convivial tables.
