Tasting notes

Lively purple-red. Violet, wild berries, light pepper and Mediterranean herbs such as myrtle and rosemary. Enveloping and fresh on the palate, with smooth tannins and a juicy finish.

About this wine

Tenuta di Biserno was founded in 2001 in Bibbona by the brothers Piero and Lodovico Antinori. Insoglio del Cinghiale comes from the Campo di Sasso estate, around 56 hectares of sandy soils cooled by the sea breeze, where Syrah is a historic variety.

The blend is mainly Syrah, with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Each grape ferments separately in steel, and the wine then ages for about seven months, partly in steel and partly in wood, to keep its vibrant fruit in focus.
