Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. The nose offers red cherry, raspberry, spice and earthy notes with a light touch of oak. The palate is dense and juicy, with solid body, ripe tannins and fresh acidity, leading to a long, savoury finish of red fruit and spice.

About this wine

The Tollot family has grown vines in Chorey-lès-Beaune since the end of the 19th century, and today the domaine is run by the cousins Nathalie, Jean-Paul and Olivier Tollot.

Les Vercots is a Premier Cru parcel in the middle of the slope of the Corton hill, with a fully southern exposure and deep, limestone-rich soils. The wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir.

The result is a dense, juicy red Burgundy with solid body and ripe tannins, a classic expression of Aloxe-Corton from one of the reference family estates of the Côte de Beaune.
