Tasting notes

Bright pink. Intense and fresh on the nose, with notes of cherry blossom and red berries. The palate is soft and mineral, with lively acidity and a pleasantly long finish. Easy to enjoy young, it offers a balanced, savoury profile that keeps the glass inviting from the first sip to the last.

About this wine

The Mazzei family has been making wine in Tuscany since 1435. Their Belguardo estate lies in the Maremma near Grosseto, close to the Tyrrhenian Sea, whose breezes keep the vineyards fresh.

This rosé blends equal parts Sangiovese and Syrah from vineyards at 70 to 130 metres. The grapes macerate on the skins for just one to two hours, then ferment at 14-16 °C and rest three months on the lees in stainless steel.

The result is a fresh rosé with real character, made for the table as much as for the terrace.
