Tasting notes

Deep garnet colour with first signs of evolution at the rim. The nose shows ripe blackcurrant and plum with notes of cedar, tobacco and forest floor. The palate is medium-bodied and harmonious, with softened tannins and savoury depth, leading to a dry, gently spiced finish.

Château Chantelys is a family estate in Prignac-en-Médoc, in the northern part of Bordeaux's Left Bank. The wine is a traditional Médoc blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, where the structure of Cabernet meets the softness of Merlot and the spice of Petit Verdot.

After several years in bottle the 2015 vintage shows a mature, evolved character, ready to enjoy now with a roast or a cheese board.
