Tasting notes

Pale straw. Fresh and fruity, with aromas of green apple, melon, lemon blossom and linden. The palate is crisp and clean, with gentle almond notes and a refreshing finish. Serve chilled but not ice-cold, so the aromas and the texture can fully open in the glass.

About this wine

Besides its renowned Barolos, the Brovia family winery of Castiglione Falletto, founded in 1863, makes a fresh white from the local Arneis grape in the neighbouring Roero district.

The wine ferments slowly at a controlled temperature of around 15 °C and is raised for 7-8 months in stainless steel only, without oak, to keep the freshness and pure aromatics of the variety. It is a lively, easy-drinking Piedmontese white. Its crisp, floral profile makes it a perfect partner for spring and summer dishes, as well as a refined aperitivo.
