Tasting notes

An excellent base of wild fruit with delicate mineral notes. Deep and complex, fresh and silky on the palate, with fine oak and a well-balanced, elegant finish showing the character of Ribera del Duero.

About this wine

Conde de San Cristóbal comes from the historic Pago de Valdestremero estate, whose grapes were already served at the court of King Philip II in the 16th century. Its 80 hectares lie in the "Golden Mile" of Ribera del Duero.

The vineyard is split into micro-plots of Tempranillo, hand-harvested and vinified plot by plot. This 100% Tinta Fina is aged 12–14 months in French oak.

Deep, complex and silky, with wild fruit and delicate minerality. Serve at 16–18 °C.
