Tasting notes

Deep garnet. Persistent aromas of wild berries with toasted notes of new oak. Intense and well structured on the palate, with sweet tannins and a satisfying, savoury finish.

About this wine

Bodegas Heredad de Baroja was founded in 1964 in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Its vineyards lie at about 600 metres, where wide day-night temperature swings in September ensure perfect ripening.

This Crianza is 100% Tempranillo from 30–40-year-old vines, aged 12 months in American oak and at least 6 months in bottle. Deep garnet, with wild berries and toasty oak, it is intense and structured, with sweet tannins.

A classic, great-value Rioja for everyday meals. Serve at 16–18 °C.
