Tasting notes

Pale ruby red. Fragrant aromas of rose, violet and orange peel with red cherry fruit. The palate is fresh and medium-bodied, with supple tannins and bright acidity, finishing clean and floral. It can take a little bottle age but is most charming young.

About this wine

Brezza's Langhe Nebbiolo comes from an organically certified vineyard in the commune of Barolo, where the family has been making wine since 1885.

Unlike the estate's Barolos, this wine sees no wood at all: it is fermented and aged only in stainless steel, bottled in the spring after the harvest and sealed with a glass stopper. The aim is to capture the fresh floral aromas of Nebbiolo in a lighter, more approachable form.

It is an honest introduction to the grape, ready to drink on release and well suited to lighter meals.
