Tasting notes

About this wine

Lumen Riserva is the top red of Illuminati, a family winery in Controguerra, northern Abruzzo, whose roots go back to 1890 and Fattoria Nicò. It is made only in the finest vintages, and 2020 is one of them.

Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon come together in a rich, harmonious blend. In the glass it is intense ruby red, with blackberry, red currant, ripe red fruit, spice and black pepper.

Structured and elegant, it is a red built to age and to accompany important meat dishes.
